The territorial delegation of Health and Families of the province of Almería has granted the distinction of 'Cardioinsured Zone' to the Nijar-Rio Andarax high-speed rail section, executed by Convensa, after meeting the requirements in terms of training and installation of semi-automatic external defibrillators.

The 061 Health Emergency Center in Almería has accredited Convensa in an act that has been chaired by the delegate of Health and Families, Juan de la Cruz Belmonte and that has had the presence of the director of the emergency center in Almería, Maria Luz Garcia.

The Nijar-Rio Andarax work center is equipped with a fixed defibrillator in the office and a mobile one guarded by the security brigade on site, as well as training for 90% of employees in the use of these and prepared to react to cardiac arrest and thus be able to save a life and avoid serious sequelae.
