The Metro de Mondego entity has recently awarded Convensa in consortium with the local subsidiary of FCC Construcción, Ramalho Rosa Cobetar, two actions within the execution works of the so-called Mondego metrobus. Mondego's mobility system consists of the implementation of a metrobus based on battery electric vehicles that will operate on the old Lousã railway branch and in the urban area of Coimbra and that runs for a total of 42 kilometers. Specifically, Convensa has won the section between Portagem and the Coimbra B station for an amount of around 34 million euros, as well as the execution of the Material and Office Park (PMO) for 6.6 million euros.

With these two actions, Convensa reaffirms its commitment to the development of modern, efficient and sustainable infrastructures and strengthens its position in Portugal as one of the reference railway companies.
