With this action, the section between Gijón and Laviana, which is practically 50 kilometers long, will see the track superstructure renewed as well as the infrastructure improved with the sanitation and improvement of some of the tunnels of the line and the stabilization and consolidation of various trenches located at the sides of the railway track. Likewise, the road surface of different level crossings located along the route will be adapted and improved.
