Convensa wins the maintenance contract for the Madrid-Seville High Speed Line

Convensa, a railway company of the FCC Group, has been awarded, together with other companies in the sector, the infrastructure, track and track maintenance contract for the Madrid - Seville High Speed line (lot 2). The contract has an amount of 41.5 million euros and a term of 48 months.

The scope of the contract includes the provision of maintenance work on the lines linking Madrid with Seville and Malaga in which Convensa will provide the human resources, specific machinery and equipment necessary to guarantee the operation of the line for the next four years.

The activities included in this contract include the maintenance of the infrastructure and superstructure elements of the general trace, section and secondary roads, connection branches, maintenance bases, width changers and any other operational installation included in the section covered by the contract .

This award joins the ones obtained recently for the maintenance of the two lots of the Madrid - Barcelona - French border line, with which the FCC group reinforces its position in the state railway market as one of its main players, carrying out the maintenance of the two main high-speed lines of the Spanish network in a length that exceeds 1,000 kilometers.
